Because plants are living products, appearance can naturally change over time (for example with growth or acclimatization).

All products are subject to availability.

5) Orders and confirmation

When you place an order, you are requesting to buy the selected products.

The sale is confirmed when we accept the order and send an order confirmation (or dispatch confirmation).

We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, such as stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or legal/compliance requirements.

6) Prices and payment

Prices shown at checkout are in the displayed currency and include VAT where required, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout unless explicitly included.

Payments are handled by payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.

7) Shipping and delivery

Shipping methods, delivery estimates, and delivery conditions are described in our Shipping Policy.

You are responsible for correct delivery details and timely parcel collection where pickup is required.

8) Cancellations, returns, and remedies

Rules for cancellations, withdrawal rights, returns, and claims are set out in our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

9) Media use and attribution

The photos, videos, and written content on the site are created by us and remain our intellectual property.

You may share our images and videos for non-commercial use if you clearly credit Nordic Plant Diary and, where possible, include a visible link to our website or original post.

When sharing, please:

  • keep attribution visible (for example: "Photo: Nordic Plant Diary"),
  • avoid edits that could misrepresent the plant,
  • avoid suggesting endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

Commercial use (including ads, paid campaigns, resale listings, AI training datasets, or other business use) requires written permission first.

10) User submissions

If you submit reviews, messages, photos, or other materials, you confirm you have the right to share them.

If you submit content for publication (for example a review), you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display it for store operation and marketing, unless we agree otherwise.

We may remove content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or misleading.

You must not use the site to:

14) Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, transport disruption, labor disputes, cyber incidents, or legal restrictions.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version is published on our website and applies to orders placed after the effective date.

16) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law.

EU consumers also benefit from mandatory protections in their country of residence where applicable.
